Nowadays there are thankfully so many great tools available on the internet to help us with our keyword marketing research and today I am going to look at one just such tool. It is called Keyword Researcher.
What Is Keyword Marketing Research?
If you have been marketing online for a while, I probably don’t need to explain this, but for many that are just starting off online, you need to know that keyword marketing research is one of the most important fundamental jobs that you will need to do in order to ensure your success in the field of internet marketing.
Keyword marketing research enables you to see what people are searching for online, and then you can work your marketing campaigns and articles around these facts.
If you own a website, you will need to do research each time you write an article, and this will ensure that your content gets found by real humans and the search engines.
If you are writing articles, the key is to find keywords that have a lot of searches each month and low competition. If you are doing advertising, then you won’t have to worry so much about the competition, mainly you will need to know what people are searching for.
What Is Keyword Researcher?
In the past, marketers would do all their keyword research manually using free tools online. This would take ages.
My top tool of choice is Jaaxy, but the only reason for this is that I haven’t been able to use Keyword Researcher since I changed from a Windows-based machine to a Mac.
If you are using a Mac, Keyword Researcher won’t work for you.
Here is how Keyword Researcher Works.
First, you go to Google and type in the keyword type that you are looking for. Let’s use training birds as an example.
As you can see, Google will bring up a whole lot of keyword ideas that people are searching for.
Now you can save these lists to your Keyword Researcher Tool so that they can be analyzed.
This tool was built by internet marketers for internet marketers, so you can get ready to say goodbye to the tedium of manually manipulating CSV files–in complicated Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
Once you have imported your chosen list to Keyword Researcher, you can then see what the monthly searches are and analyze your keywords according to negative and positive keywords.
You can select the keywords you would like to use within your article and then write it within the tool. Keyword Researcher will tell you if you are missing any of the keywords within your text.
Once you have written your article, you can publish it straight to your website.
So What Does Keyword Researcher Do In A Nutshell?
- It can search for long-tail keywords on Google, YouTube, and Amazon.
- You can use the “Create Content Tab” to write web content and insert the high-value Keywords.
- You can assign your keywords to articles, and sort your articles into categories.
- It keeps track of negative keywords. A good negative keyword list will ensure that undesirable keywords don’t interfere with your project.
- It assigns your keywords to a White, Grey, and Black List. These multi-colored lists help to keep your project nice and organized.
- It has an advanced keyword search for when you have 1000’s of Keywords and you need advanced searching functions to make sense of them.
- You can drag your Google Keyword Planner CSV files right into your project.
- Import Keywords and Article Content via Microsoft Excel (XLS) files.
- You can export your keywords and content to many formats, including CSV, XLS, and even a WordPress XML file.
How To Use Keyword Researcher In Your Online Business
Here are some great ways in which you can use Keyword Researcher in your marketing.
Build A Gigantic List Of Keywords
As you probably know, if you’re building an authority site, or if you would like to become a dominant player in your niche, then starting with a large database of keywords (that your customers are actually typing in) is a really powerful marketing tool.
Target Hidden Long Tail Keywords With Lower Competition
Using the free Google Keyword Planner is great, but did you know that there is an alternate universe of Long Tail keyword phrases that live in Google’s other database–namely, their “Autocomplete database.”
That’s the database that is accessed when you’re typing queries into the Google search box (notice that list of suggested keywords that pop up as you type?)
Long-tail keywords are great because they allow you to generate content that targets phrases that your actual customers are typing in, but that may not be too obvious to your competitors.
Use Keyword Researcher To Generate Creative Article Ideas
Create article titles that are reflective of what people in your industry are actually searching for.
Coming up with unique content ideas for your website is hard enough. But Keyword Researcher allows you to create article content about niche-specific concepts–that only a select few people in the world are actively searching for.
Keyword Researcher allows you to type in partial article titles. And Keyword Researcher will attempt to “fill in the blanks” for you and tell you which phrases people are actually searching for.
Research The Market Interest In A New Niche
Let’s say you’re considering starting a new website, or venturing into a new product niche. And, suppose you’d like to somehow determine how much interest is shown in your chosen topic.
You can use Keyword Researcher to get a “feel” for how much interest is actually out there. For example, let’s say you were selling watches. Then you could try the following:
- Are people asking questions about this product?
Try this: How to * a watch
- Is this product often paired with related products?
Try this: * for watches
- Is this product popular with a particular set of users?
Try this: watches for *
Keyword Researcher will replace the asterisk with every letter of the alphabet, and return 100’s of keywords suggestions.
Answer Questions About Your Service Or Product
Wouldn’t it be great if you actually knew what kinds of questions your potential customers were actually asking?
What if, instead of creating content about your product randomly, you could answer questions in your niche based on phrases that your potential customers were actually typing into Google?
Well, you’re in luck, because Keyword Researcher is great at uncovering such question styled queries.
