How To Get Visitors To Your Blog

guest blogging

If you are wondering how to get visitors to your blog, and lots of them at that, then read on…

These methods have worked over time, and they will continue working if you keep putting them into practice.

I am going to focus on free methods in this article.

How To Get Visitors To Your Blog

Guest Blogging

This is an old but well-used method of how to get visitors to your blog and lots of them.

It’s called guest blogging……

This method does take a little work, but it works like a bomb.  guest blogging

It is a quick and easy way to get a brand new batch of people to visit your blog. This method has been working well for years, and there is no reason that it won’t continue working well for years to come.

Before trying this method, make sure you have some great content posted on your blog for all your new visitors to read.

Guest blogging allows you to tap into existing audiences in an instant; that has been built up through years of grueling work from the blogger you will write a guest post for.

You can post on your own blog all you want, but posting on other blogs is the easiest way to get high-quality backlinks and new traffic.

Here’s how guest blogging works:

Firstly, you need to find high traffic blogs in your niche.

You can look up blog directories or approach blogs you already know of, but searching Google is the easiest way of finding relevant blogs that accept guest posts.

Use these search strings on Google:

niche + guest post
niche + guest post
niche + guest author
niche + write for us
niche + guest blog
niche + guest posting
niche + submit a guest post

Next, make a list of blogs that are as close to the one that you want the visitors from as possible.

Make contact with the blog owners, and then write some content and submit it to the blog owner. Don’t forget to include a link at the bottom of your post, so that readers can click through to your site.

If you can get your post onto a site with thousands of readers, then it is not uncommon to get a whole bunch of new leads, followers, and sales.

At the same time, you get high-quality backlinks that will boost your search engine rankings no end.

Don’t hold back on your guest posts, because the higher the quality of the work, the more visitors you will get.

Key Word Research

This is one of the best methods of getting high-quality organic traffic from the search engines over time that I know of.

Don’t let the word research put you off, as nowadays you can get many wonderful keywords in a matter of minutes if you have the right tools at your disposal.

I use Jaaxy, and you can test them out by typing in a related keyphrase in the block below.

Jaaxy will tell you which keywords are good ones to use by indicating with a green dot those the most suitable.

If the QSR is below 100 that means there is low competition and it will be easier to rank for that specific key phrase.

Never ever write any blog post without targeting a keyword phrase, otherwise, your hard work will get lost somewhere in cyberspace never to be read again.

Social Media

Each time you publish a blog post, make sure to ping all your social media sites to let people know that you have new content on your website.

This does wonders for your ranking over time as it gives you more backlinks and the search engines love social media.

I always share my blog posts to my Twitter feed, my Facebook Business feed, Linked In and Pinterest, but there are many other great ones you could try like Instagram, Reddit, and Dig, etc.

Keep Training

There are always new ways and means coming out of getting traffic. The best thing to do long term is to regularly add content to your blog. In this way, your website will get a lot of organic traffic and you won’t need to pay for traffic on PPC ads unless of course, you want even more traffic.

To keep up with the latest developments and training in the affiliate marketing industry, take a look at Wealthy Affiliate. This is a must for any blogger who wants to turn his or her website into a business.

  1. Thanks for this amazing writing. I  became a member of wealthy affilate a few days back. So far it seems like a great place to communicate with people, writing blogs, creating websites and other features. I have not created any website for me though, but I have plans to turn my website into my business.

    • Hope you will be very happy at Wealthy Affiliate, and I am sure you will get your online business up and running in no time at all thanks to this wonderful platform.

  2. Some really fine suggestions towards achieving organic traffic that are strong and actually work. Though, to be honest I wouldn’t have thought you could google for blogs which accept guest posts just like that. I always thought you’d have to try building some connections with the higher ups for you to be able to start guest blogging.

    • There are lots of blogs that accept guest blogs if they are of good quality. Perhaps the higher ranking sites may be a little fussier though as to what they put on their sites.

The best thing to do if you find a site you like and it doesn’t offer guest blogs is to write to the owner and ask.
