I was so happy to learn that one can now get a free AWeber account. In the past you only got the free trial for a month, then had to pay each month thereafter.
AWeber is one of the best known and top quality autoresponders on the market, and has been around many years (since 1998). Aweber autoresponder is basically an email marketing app that allows you to:
- create a mailing list
- capture data
- design newsletters that can be sent to the subscribers on your list
- automate your email marketing via use of ‘autoresponders’
- create multiple campaigns
- view and analyse statistics related to your email marketing campaigns
- AWeber’s email templates are all ‘responsive,’ which means that they automatically resize themselves to suit the device they’re being viewed on. In this day and age of smartphones and tablets, this is an essential feature to have.
AWeber was founded by Tom Kulzer and it is a strong company with many users.
Today, more than 120,000 small and midsize businesses, entrepreneurs, agencies and nonprofits are making the most of AWeber’s sophisticated segmentation and analytics capabilities, split testing applications, extensive template libraries and industry-leading deliverability and live support.
A Free AWeber account gives your customers access to all the powerfully simple key features they’ll need to build awesome, long-term relationships with their audience of up to 500 subscribers, sending up to 3,000 emails monthly.
Signing up for an AWeber account has never been easier or quicker.
The barriers that small business owners and entrepreneurs may face when just starting out have been eliminated. All that you will need to sign up is your name and email adddress.
There is unlimited access to all the powerfully simple content creation tools with beautiful landing pages to choose from. All free users can also use the message editor, landing page builder, sign up form builder and have access to amazing looking templates.
There is also a free migration service, in case you have clients on another email marketing tool and want to switch them to Aweber.
A free AWeber account has no restrictions on the email automation capabilities and everyone can create unlimited campaigns using the entire campaign builder and message editor. This enables you to send more efficiently and create deeper and more meaningful relationships with your audience.
Customer Care is also open to free members through either phone, email or chat.
If you are into affiliate marketing, then you can also promote AWeber and if somebody signs up to the upgraded plan later on, you will still get the commissions for the lifetime of that account. There are done for you social media banners that you can use to promote AWeber, and shareable guides.
If You Open A Free AWeber Account Watch Out For This:
You need to be aware of this if you get a free account. You do get up to 500 subscribers for free, but remember that this counts as both subscribed and unsubscribed subscribers.
This means that even if somebody unsubscribes from your list, you’ll be charged for keeping their details in your AWeber account.
You can avoid this charge by deleting unsubscribed contacts from your account periodically, but you will have to remember to do this.
Also with AWeber, the more subscribers you acquire, the more you are going to pay each month. This is why I prefer to use FloDesk, as I know my price stays the same no matter how many subscribers I get. But of the two, AWeber definitely has more features.
I hope you’ve found this AWeber review helpful so far. If you would like to try out a Free AWeber Account, you certainly have nothing to lose.

Hi Michel,
Making money online while sitting at home would be a dream come true for me. Away from the traffic rumblings all left to self, I guess that is when I can say that I live the life. This is unlike my position today where hours of commute leaves no room for socialization.
Aweber had been one of the leading e-marketing kit. It has great features for a good e-mail marketing campaign. However, the price was always a hindrance to entering this platform. But now with a free account which allows for 500 subscribers, what can hold me back?
Thanks for sharing.
Regards
Rohit
Yes it is wonderful that AWeber and a few other do offer the free version while you are building your your list. They never used to, and I think that they lost a lot of potential customers in the process.
In fact, when it comes to making money online, email marketing is a must-have. I also do email marketing a lot of the time. My list is still very small. So I think this Aweber is exactly right for me. It has better features than the ones I currently use. Also, I can add subscribe 500. I will definitely try this. Thanks so much for this post. Keep posting like this.
Glad you have found something that will work for you Pasindu.
Hi! I’ve been using AWeber for my email marketing needs and have liked it so far. The interface is user-friendly, and their customer service has been excellent. I would recommend trying it if you’re looking for a good email marketing tool.
Have you tried Mailerlite and Converkit? I haven’t tried them, but I’ve heard good things about them. I think they both have free accounts to start with.
Hi Steve, yes I did try Convertkit, and they have a great platform, but at the time I didn’t need it as much as I thought I would, and already had a funnel builder that worked fine so didn’t see the point in paying so much.
Hi Michel,
It’s good to know that we can open a free Account at AWeber. You mentioned that ‘if somebody unsubscribes from your list, you’ll be charged for keeping their details in your list’. Will I be charged even if my account is free? I need to get clarified on this, because I might not always remember to delete unsubscribed accounts.
Please do post about other recommended email autoresponders.
Thanks a lot for sharing this nice article.

Thanks for stopping by Chuna. As long as your subscriber base stays under 50 you won’t be charged. The best is when you see you are getting close to 50 is to go in and delete unsubscribed and inactive people.
