What Is Precious Time?
One year?
Just ask someone who was diagnosed with cancer…
One hour?
Just ask a college student studying for finals…
One Minute?
Just ask an ambulance crew…
One Second?
Just ask a driver who narrowly avoided a car accident…
One Millisecond?
Just ask a silver medalist in the Olympics…
Now is the time to take control of your future – can you afford to wait?

How many of us truly know the value of our precious time?
How many of us can honestly say that we use every millisecond of our lives to the fullest?
Do you even know how to enjoy your time?
How to manage your time better is an ongoing and daily task. Do we plan our days, or do we just live randomly from day to
Do you plan your days, or do you just live randomly from day to day?
Do you have a purpose or a goal that you are working towards, or do you just hope a purpose or goal will jump out at you or find you somehow?
Can you honestly say that you enjoy your lives as they are, or would you rather have somebody else’s life? Do you spend your life wishing for things, but never actually take action to get those things for yourself?
Isn’t it about time you stopped living at the edge looking in at other people’s windows and started taking action to make your life worth living?
How To Start Managing That Precious Time
Picture yourself in five years time, do you want a life like you are living now, or do you want it to be infinitely better.
You only have one life to live, so you have to make the most of what you do have.
You are the only one who can change, and learn to manage your time better. It all starts with your mindset. If your mindset and goals aren’t in place, you will have nothing to motivate you to take action.
Write those dreams down
Start by sitting down and listing 100 things that you would like to do before you die. Put the list in a place where you can see it and add to it as you think of more. Sort of like a bucket list.
The next step is to make yourself some short and long-term goals.
Now make time every day to visualize your goals in detail, like meditating.
Set yourself a time frame to make your goals a reality, and then on another page plan what you will need to do each day in order to achieve these goals.
For instance, if you are not happy with a relationship in your life, only you can mend it or break it off. If you are financially strapped, find a way to earn an extra income.
Yes, it will take work, but in order to live the life that you want, you need to put in some extra work. Try and at least do something that you enjoy if wanting to find an extra source of income. The internet has loads of great possibilities. I use this one.
Take tips from those who have used these steps to achieve the life of their dreams. Take Tony Robbins for instance. If you took a look into a successful person’s diary, you would not see a single minute of their day that hasn’t been planned or accounted for. They even schedule their leisure time.
How to manage your precious time better is all about changing your mindset, planning your life properly, and then most importantly taking action.
Use Technology
Just about everyone nowadays owns a smartphone. Why not use one of the many apps available to help you to plan your goals and your life better. There are hundreds to choose from.
I love using Habits Wizard, Goals Wizard, and Simpleology to help me to keep track of all my goals as well as my to-do lists.
So stop procrastinating and start managing your precious time right now!
I’m glad I came across this website, even though it’s about making money online from home the message you have incorporated with this is very eye-opening. So even if someone was to come across this site by accident, the time is precious part can relate to anyone.
There are some things that I came across in this post that I haven’t done. Like writing all my dreams and goals down so that’s what I plan to do for self-improvement.
Thanks for stopping by Kurtes, and get working on those goals so those dreams can come true.
None of us can say we have lived each second to the fullest. Time is money and we should avoid wasting it. Creating a bucket list helps in time management. Sets goal and work hard towards achieving each one, avoid procrastination. Thank you for sharing a wonderful article that will change the way I manage my time
Some great points there noted Diana.
This is such a great post! Your tips seem right on point. I think sometimes we forget about how fast time goes by and we all should learn how to manage it in a better way. I love making lists so your idea of creating a bucket list and setting short and long term goals is something that could be very easy to implement. Do you have any recommendations on how to prioritize goals? Thanks so much in advance!
I try to work on my biggest and most important goals in the following way.
I list everything I need to achieve the goal by working as if I have already achieved the goal then working backward and writing down the steps that I took to get there. That helps me see that the goal is achievable.
