The Home Business Academy has some excellent training all about taking those steps to financial freedom, as well as how to get there, no matter what skill set you currently have in place.
There are many valuable life lessons as well as new skills that you can learn from this company, but the reason I took up this membership was to speed up my progress and refine my steps to financial freedom. Here are some valuable nuggets that I have picked up along the way.
So What Is Financial Freedom?
Financial freedom or being financially free means that you get to make life decisions without being overly stressed about the financial impact because you are prepared.
Instead of being controlled by your finances, you control your finances. This does not mean that you are free from the responsibility of managing your money well, but you are able to generate a passive income that exceeds your monthly commitments without having to exchange work hours for a salary.
The Road To Financial Freedom
The road to financial freedom starts with a good mindset. Many people think that this step is mumbo jumbo, hogwash, but let me tell you, it works.
Take a look a all the successful people you know of. Do you see any negative people in that lineup?
No, because they all have a success mindset.
To start working on your own mindset, you need to take some steps in the right direction.
You need to see yourself in the future in a life where you are doing what you want to and in a life where you are financially free.
You can travel where and when you like.
You can buy your dream home or take your friends out on the town without having to worry about where the money is coming from.
You need to see yourself not surviving paycheck to paycheck but rather having the freedom to enjoy more leisure time with your family and loved ones.
Is this what you want your future to look like?

Working on your mindset takes time, and this is time you should be taking every day to visualize your dreams and goals.

Another way to work on your mindset is to read mindset books on a daily basis.
There is always a book next to my bed that I can get daily nuggets of wisdom from and I can work on getting rid of negative thoughts and focus on being grateful for what I have achieved in my life so far.

Skillset is the next part.
In order to become financially free, you will also need to work on your skillset. You obviously need to have the skills in place so that you can, first of all, make money and next grow that money.
Your skillset, like your mindset, is also something you should be working on each day.

You may have other skills you want to work on, but the trick is becoming an expert over time at what you do.
Is There A Formula For The Road To Financial Freedom
Definitely.
So in the beginning you will need to have the strongest mindset, as it will feel like you are on a bicycle with mindset and skillset being the pedals.
You will be pushing your mindset and skillset to the next level all the time, like riding up a steep hill. You will also be applying what you learn, and that means putting in work every day towards your goal.
This is where most people give up, as they only see what is on the surface and what they are putting in. They see the time that it takes, and they see very little return. But the trick is to keep going, keep believing, as eventually, you will get to the top of that hill and over to the other side.
From there it will be a downhill ride as all the work you have put in has begun to take and is bringing you returns, thus that passive income you have been working so hard towards.
Your mindset and your skillset are like building a house. Mindset and Skillset make for firm foundations, and your performance or output is how big your house is going to get.
Take me for example.
A couple of years ago, I started blogging. At first, I got no traffic to my sites, but because I enjoyed what I was doing and blogging about, and it was a part-time ‘hobby’ as you could call it, I worked on them hard in my free time.
A couple of years down the line now, I am making passive income from all that work I put in a few years ago, and each day I make sales and advertising revenue, even when I don’t do any work on my blogs.
It is a great feeling when that passive income starts coming in, and I know that the more I work on my blogs, the bigger that income is going to get.
The best part is that the income is growing all the time and this year I have tripled what I made in 2019, so that is how I know that work you put in now pays off tenfold in the future.
I know that without a doubt when I retire from teaching dancing one of these days or rather years, depending on how much longer I can do it, I will have a great passive income coming in every month that will see me through when I am no longer earning a salary.
Another mistake that most people make when they start looking for income possibilities on the internet is that they chase all the shiny objects, and believe me there are hundreds of them out there. These are programs that promise to make them rich overnight.
In the end, they jump from one program to the next and never actually get anywhere with any of them. Believe me I have also been guilty of this in the past and it doesn’t work.
You need to find something that is going to sustain you for the long haul, which is why starting your own internet business is always the safest way to go.
Remember this: ‘It’s hard to get rich fast, but easy to get rich slow‘
Wealth is more often a result of hard work, perseverance and self-discipline.
I know you don’t want to hear this, but it is true.
There is no such thing as internet riches that can be made overnight. It is all a process of having the right mindset, learning the skills, and most importantly putting those skills into practice.
Think of yourself as a seed. You need to fertilize that seed and learn to grow it into a huge tree. Nothing in life comes without hard work and dedication. (watering and nurturing)
That being said, remember to find something that you enjoy doing. Something that makes you excited to get up each day to work on and half the battle will already be won on the road to financial freedom.
