I joined this program to get the HBA Funnel Builder, which is reasonably priced at just $25 per month.
The funnel builder is priced really well in comparison to other funnel builders, and the quality is just as good as the more expensive ones out there.
Once you log in, you will get training from the HBA Funnel Builder Academy.
Each section is clearly set out in video format so that you too can start building your funnels like a pro.

The Home Business Academy Training
Once you have joined, there is an upsell of their primary product which is The Home Business Academy membership which costs $125 per month, and you are afforded the opportunity to take a trial run of this for one week for $1.
If you decide to take the membership after a week, you will be billed $125 each month on the same day you take it out.
This membership consists of a training system to help people to become more successful with their lives and their business. There seems to be a lot of people who take this membership choice for the training and not because they are internet marketers.
There are over 1100 videos and audios you can access as well as daily live masterminds. They also have weekly marketing and mindset training going.
You come to these with your questions or just to listen and learn. It really brings home the old adage that you are in business for yourself, but not by yourself.
The Home Business Academy uses a simple success formula: Mindset + Skillset X Performance = Results
The training comes in the form of online videos and audios which makes it easy in this day of smartphones, tablets and laptop computers to access it anywhere at any time.
HBA Financial Literacy Academy Or FLA
Separate from the Home Business Academy is the Financial Literacy Academy or FLA. This is an optional extra product.
With FLA you will access training on:
- Financial Literacy 101
- Debt Elimination 101
- Reducing Taxes 101
Gorilla money strategies including car flipping 101, home flipping 101, asset management 101, and profits with mobile homes.
I am mentioning this because it is part of the affiliate program. This is a big-ticket item that really got my attention.
Does Home Business Academy Have An Affiliate Program?
This program has an excellent affiliate program. The only problem here is that unlike other affiliate programs that you can join for free, you have to be a member of whatever part of the membership you are trying to promote.
On the funnel builder which costs you $25 per month, if somebody purchases this from your referral link, you will get $20 per month for as long as they stay a member.
If somebody purchases the Home Business Academy Training for $125 a month, you get a recurring commission of $100. So as you can see, the commission structures are really worthwhile.
I have recently upgraded my account to HBA Premium, and I am really enjoying doing the training daily. Yesterday I even learned about all the different types of internet browsers, and some of the information I wasn’t even aware of, even though I have been marketing online for years.
I also enjoy the mindset training which is quite in-depth.
On the Financial Literacy Academy, the price is a hefty $1000 with a 50% off option of $500 in the first week if you take your $1 trial offer. This will give you $400 in commission once-off, or $800 on the full-priced option.
This makes HBA a really good affiliate deal, but remember that you have to be a member paying subs each month to qualify. The good part is that you only need two referrals to be making a profit each month.
The best part of this is that it is a recurring commission, so you only need to sell the product once.
The Home Business Academy pays every Friday for sales made the prior week after the trial period. This is a quick turnaround for an affiliate program payment. Other programs wait until you reach some sort of threshold or you need to wait till the end of the month.
HBA Funnel Builder Review – Pros:
- A lot cheaper than some of the better-known funnel builders out there.
- Easy to use the website and great training.
- Quickly set up funnels to sell anything you like.
- Great high ticket affiliate program.
- Great support and Facebook Community.
- You get a free trial period to try it out first.
HBA Funnel Builder Review – Cons:
- Expensive Upsells, but luckily you don’t need them if you just want to use the funnel builder.
- The funnel builder takes a bit of practice to get right, but luckily there are some pre-built ones you can use.
Other than the expense of the upsells, I couldn’t find any other cons.
So if you are looking for a great funnel builder to take better control of your lists and your affiliate marketing efforts, HBA Funnel Builder is the answer.
You can build unlimited funnels for whatever products you need to sell, and the funnels are beautiful and professional looking.

I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. $25 to learn how to make money online is not steal. I’d rather pay $49 or $99 a month and get a lot more. HBA Funnel Builder is not as comprehensive as Wealthy Affiliate. You’re just setting up funnels with HBA. With Wealthy Affiliate, you learn the ins and outs of affiliate marketing and how to build a sustainable business online.

The reason I joined HBA was to get the funnel builder, as Wealthy Affiliate doesn’t have one. You are right that the training at Wealthy Affiliate is out of this world, but HBA was a great inexpensive option to build funnels, as opposed to other funnel builders out there.
I am a member of HBA funnel builder and Premium. Price is excellent BUT the problem is that it lacks step by step training. I mean the training to use the funnel builder is there but you have to dig it out of the many videos from their Monday night masterminds. They definitely need A to Z training steps. If you are already pretty tech savory no problem – if you are a beginner it will take you some time to learn how to use the funnel builder. And if you want to talk directly to support that does not exist. They really need a support desk to contact over the phone.
I agree, William, they could definitely take some lessons from Wealthy Affiliate when it comes to training and support, however the price is great for the funnel builder, and I think all the builders will have a learning curve to get comfortable with them. I have only built a basic funnel, but have mostly used the ones that HBA supplies as it is just easier.
